Do you have what it takes to be a man part 1

Scene belongs to hindi movie "Joru ka Gulam". A group of 4 very very rich girls dont want to marry a man, yet this man and his friend come to marry the girls for their money. The current scene ends with a challenge to the guy to prove his manliness to the girls given by the lead actress whom he called to be not feminine at all. They decide that a boxing match between the girls and the man would be the best way to prove it. So the guy comes prepared for the match and there is told about the stakes of the match.

Everytime that he loses a bout, he will have to forego one of his masculine qualities or ways and embrace the feminine qualities and ways. If he won a bout then he would get to marry one of the girls and she would be his wife and listen to him. If by any chance he lost all the 10 bouts then he would have to live as a woman and become the wife of all four of them. The man was too proud about his manliness and his strength and decided to prove it to the weak girls. He was so proud that he challenged all four of them together. So finally in the boxing ring, the match began.

He started punching very hard but he had no training so every time he punched they dodged. He got confident that they were afraid of him so he started to punch harder but within half a minute he was exhausted. Then they hit him, they started using him as a punching bag and soon he was cowering in the corner with his hands covering his face. Bout 1 went to the girls. The girls went into a meeting and decided that as the guy was soon going to be a girl the best way to remind him about that would be to change his name. So they told him that he could no longer have a manly name. So he would have to change his name to Anjali. Anjali was given only few minutes of break and then it was time for bout 2.

Bout 2 began with Anjali trying to avoid the girls as he was hurting from the previous bout. He tried to avoid them and ran away from them. They started jeering at him. "Anjali, why are you running from us."or "Anjali be a strong girl and fight." The one thing they did in every sentence was remind him that he was Anjali now. This hurted him mentally and he lost his concentration. He only saw the first punch hitting him. After that everything was a blur. Within a few minutes he was again hiding behind his hands in another corner. The girls knew what they wanted to ask him to give. He was told to give away his innerwear. They gave him a sport bra and boy shorts to wear. He had to go to washroom and change. When he saw his face all beaten up and looked at the bra in his hand all his pride went out. He simply had to win the next rounds. He could not spent rest of is life as a woman. How could he beat them, they were very stronger than him. It was like he had trapped himself completely. The moment he started to realize that they were stronger than him, he knew he could do nothing by force. So it had to be brains. He could hear the knock telling him to come out or they would come in. So he finally wore the bra and the shorts. Atleast he wore a t-shirt and shorts over them so that they were hidden from vision.

Bout 3 looked like a mere formality to everyone as Anjali was following the same tactic of running and hiding. He was more focussed but there was the matter of his life and future being at stake. Also there was the bra that was too tight as it cling to his skin making it impossible not to think about it. So sooner than latter he got punched a few times ending the bout in defeat. He never even tried to land a single punch. The girls said he had three options. First option was that he could start wearing purely feminine dresses like salwar suit or saree and train for a week to fight the remaining bouts. Second option was that he should get his ears, nose and belly pierced and continue to fight. There was also the third option that he could give up and let them feminize him completely into a woman and he would not have to marry any of them. If he took the third option he will have to live as a woman but as their friend instead of slave.

Anjali thought for a long time and decided that the first option was the safest of them all. So the girls gave him 4 salwar suits, 2 nighties, 3 sarees and even 3 western dresses to wear for the week. All the dresses looked like they would fit him. Even the saree blouse had been made to fit him. This is when Anjali realized that he was being trapped and the girls had been planning for this the whole time. His entire will to fight started to crumble. He knew if they had planned the whole thing then they knew he would not defeat them. So he was never going to marry any one of them. Instead he was going to lose his manliness forever.

He was thinking about this the whole way while he was going home wearing his new salwar suit. He was having difficulty handling the dupatta which kept sliding over his shoulder. Finally he got home where his father got angry looking at him like that. While his mother and sister looked very happy. He had thought to ask his dad a wrestler to teach him about boxing and fighting. Yet looking at his father's face, he knew this was not the time so he went to his room unpacked his new clothes and kept them in his cupboard. His sister knowing the story kept teasing him how he will become a girl and then they would be sisters and finally she would have the younger sister she always wanted. His friend also came and told him not to give up as this was the only way they could become rich very fast. He was thinking about all this as he slept that night. He even had dreams where he had been turned into a complete woman and the girls were having sex with him like a man.

The next morning he woke up and went to his father to ask him to teach boxing instead his father berated him. His father told him his daughter does not have to learn fighting. His daughter should learn to cook and clean and be trained to be a good housewife. So Anjali had to go to his mother who took to herself to teach her new daughter about being a wife. She started to teach him how to cook and serve. She also taught Anjali to wear saree and the bra on her own. The new innerwears had been sent by the 4 girls that morning only. The whole week Anjali instead of preparing for fight, was spending time learning to cook, clean and wash. His father had avoided him the whole week, while his mother and sister were treating him like he had always been a woman.

Soon it was the fateful day of round 2 of the boxing. A car came to Anjali's house with his new boxing attire which was also completely feminine and in pink color. The same car took him to the venue where a lot more girls were watching the match this time. Bout 4 was something he thought he would be able to play to a draw atleast as he knew he could not win. He was punching when they got near and moving away when they got too close. Yet he was not fighting just one of them but 4 of them. Midway in the bout he found himself surrounded with nowhere to move. He didnt even block those punches as he knew he was going to lose this one too. He had lost 4 bouts and the girls had just played with him. After bout 4 he now had to keep long hair and feminine hairstyles. The girls decided to gift him 2-3 wigs until his hair grew long. One wig was shoulder long hair with curls, another wig had hair that came to his breasts and were very straight. While the third wig was hip long hair and braided. Anjali had to wear one of these wig before his next bout. He choose the smallest one not thinking it through. Only after he wore it that he realized how the hair came in front of his eyes as he moved. As he looked in the mirror he did not see a male but a female. He had come a lot of way from being a man to this woman he saw in the mirror. He had to find a way to get out of it all.
